What You Will Do to Change Lives You will direct medical treatment to members served within the scope of your Psychiatrist licensure. You will participate in the leadership of the program by participating and communicating with Program staff and members served. You participate in the leadership of the program by ensuring superior quality medical practices that meet and exceed licensure requirements, payer standards and client and community needs.
Psychiatrist - Full Time - 32 Hours (8 hours on Friday & 12 hours on Saturday & Sunday) Compensation - Employee wage range - $155 - $194 / hour
Independent Contractor wage range - $201 - $252 / hour
Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)- A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry

As part of the Telecare Family, the Santa Cruz County Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is a 16-bed locked acute psychiatric inpatient program for adults aged 18+, diagnosed with serious mental illness (SMI), experiencing a mental health emergency and require intensive treatment and support. The CSP is a locked crisis program. It serves adults 18+ admitted both voluntarily and involuntarily. The length of stay is up to 23 hours.
