Job description
BIM Manager
We are a leading provider of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering services for various sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional. We are looking for a BIM Manager to join our team in either our Austin, San Antonio, or Houston offices and work on exciting projects across those areas.
Base Salary: $100k - $130k (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain BIM standards, processes, and workflows for the firm and its projects
- Develop and manage 3D models and BIM data using software such as Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, or Autodesk Civil 3D
- Provide technical support and training to the BIM staff and other project stakeholders
- Perform quality control checks and clash detection on the BIM models
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of BIM deliverables
- Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in BIM and digital construction
Requirements:
- B.S. in higher in architecture, construction, product design, civil engineering, or architectural technology
- At least 5 years of experience in BIM management or coordination for various types of projects, such as commercial, industrial, higher education, science and technology, healthcare, or high-rise residential
- Proficient in BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, MicroStation, or Autodesk Civil 3D
- Familiar with BIM standards, such as PAS 1192, ISO 19650, or AIA E202
- Knowledge of 4D, 5D, 6D, 7D, and 8D BIM dimensions and their applications
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to travel to project sites in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston, TX
