The UPS Store Sales Associate In the Shopps at Webb Gin

DESCRIPTION

NOW HIRING for a dependable part-time or full-time Sale Associate. Primary responsibility is to deliver world-class customer service; with solid people skills, effective oral/written communication skills, and the ability to work well with others. The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED (some college course work preferred), a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for several hours at a time and the ability to lift 50-75+ lbs. Please note the following:

• This is not a position with UPS Corporate, UPS Warehouse, or a driver position.* Becoming a Notary is necessary; the company reimburses the employee
• Must have availability two Saturdays a month

POSITION

REQUIREMENTS

As a Team Member of The UPS Store, you will have the following duties:

• Must be available to work two Saturdays a month
• Be knowledgeable of products and services offered and adequately promote them to exceed customers' expectations
• Accurately Record all sale transactions in the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Pack customer content for shipping using established procedures and products.
• Receive and process packages for shipping. It may require retrieving packages from the customer's vehicle when requested.
• Perform end-of-day POS reconciliation duties following company policy and procedures.
• Operate store equipment (e.g., copiers, fax machines, binding, etc.) safely, efficiently, and productively.
• Help customers operate business center PC.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment
