Job description

We're seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (BP) to help us create meaningful experiences for our Retail employees and candidates. The BP, Retail is an essential role in developing and delivering people-related services, processes, policies, practices, and projects for our Retail teams. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with a focus on Retail operations and company-wide employee engagement initiatives. You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training & development, and employee relations for our stores (6 existing locations and 6 new stores). The BP, Retail will also deliver employee engagement initiatives across all areas of the company (retail and corporate) to reinforce our culture of community, belonging, and care for others. You will work closely with store leaders and employees, as well as partner with corporate employees at all levels.. 

You will report to the Director, People & Culture.

This role can be based in either our Summit, NJ headquarters or our NYC office.  We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have flexibility to work remotely. Currently we are operating under a hybrid model whereby all teams work in an office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and may be provided flexibility to work from home on other days. There may be times when you're asked to work in another office and travel to stores because it's in the best interest of our business or your team.

The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $130,000. It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, scope of the role, and internal peer benchmarking.
