Job Description:
- Job will consist of meeting City inspectors for inspections and doing Quality Control checks on Milestone plumbing installations
- Minor plumbing repairs to pass city inspection
- Involvement with training of technicians
- Build and maintain relationships with other plumbers
- Need to be able to identify improper plumbing installations and know how to explain proper corrections needed to be made
- Able to utilize excellent communication skills with both customers and inspectors
- You are knowledgeable in the 2015 IPC, IRC, and IFGC
- Occasionally running regular service calls
Qualifications:
- Master or Journeyman License with the Texas State Board of Plumbing required
- 5-10 years of residential plumbing experience required
- Mix of residential service, new construction and commercial is a plus
- Clean driving record and current valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
- Works well in team environment
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods
- Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels
- Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet
- Must have mental skills such as critical thinking , problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
- Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints.
- Must be able to complete a Job Physical Assessment
