Job description
Responsibilities:
Lead the integration of hardware components with MDM solutions, ensuring seamless device management and security across a variety of devices.
Architect and implement middleware solutions to facilitate communication between hardware devices and software applications on different platforms.
Implement robust security measures in hardware designs and ensuring the protection of sensitive data.
Develop and execute performance tests for hardware solutions and optimizing for optimal performance.
Work with various hardware types, including but not limited to embedded systems, IoT devices, mobile devices, and custom hardware platforms.
Optimize hardware designs for performance, power efficiency, and reliability, taking into account the specific requirements of different hardware types.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, security experts, and testing teams, to deliver integrated solutions
Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, providing ongoing maintenance and support.
Create comprehensive documentation for hardware designs, security implementations, performance testing methodologies, and hardware-specific considerations.
Stay updated on industry trends with research and innovation, emerging technologies, and best practices related to hardware engineering, MDM solutions, secure hardware, and performance testing.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in hardware engineering with expertise in MDM solutions, middleware development, secure hardware design, and performance testing across various hardware types
Proficiency in hardware design tools and languages (e.g., PCB design, VHDL, Verilog).
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
Strong programming skills in languages like C, C++, or Java for middleware development.
Knowledge of secure hardware design principles and implementation.
Experience in planning and conducting performance tests for hardware solutions.
Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Certifications in hardware engineering, secure hardware design, or performance testing.
Experience working with a variety of hardware platforms and technologies.
