Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strong background in MSSQL Database architecture
2. DBA plans back-up and recoveries, disaster recoveries, and maintenance of the data schema
3. Experience in Hot and cold Backup and restoration
Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for the maintenance and security of Microsoft SQL Server development, testing, and production database environments. The DBA plans back-up and recoveries, disaster recoveries, and maintenance of the data schema.
The DBA works closely with other teams, so components of the system integrate accurately with the data framework.
Clear understanding of MSSQL Database architecture.
Experience in Hot and cold Backup and restoration.
Experience in Database patching, Database upgrade, Database Migration.
Experience in performance tuning, Experience in setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of Always on.
Knowledge of T-SQL.
Ability to do capacity planning and DB configuration for high performance.
Excellent communication Skills written & verbal.
Open for 24/7 shifts.
Knowledge in High availability is added advantage, any other DB (Oracle/MYSQL/PostgreSQL) knowledge is added advantage.
Any Scripting knowledge (shell/python/PowerShell) is added advantage.
