Job description
We're looking for a CDL Class A local heavy haul Driver in Escondido! You're home daily, and work in the Escondido region.
In this role you'll load your own equipment, and drive oversized loads.
You can start early to miss traffic, and overtime is available.
A clean DMV licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload heavy equipment including wheel loaders, skid steer loaders, excavators, rollers, scissor lifts and more
- Under direction of dispatcher deliver and pickup equipment as needed communicating with dispatch along the way
- Communicating with customers on proper drop or pickup location
- Communicating with customers on basic equipment operation
- Being familiar with San Diego County road ways
- Complete daily logs
- Complete daily truck inspection report
- Use Company provided phone to take pictures or equipment and use apps
