Job description

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Work Model: Hybrid (On-site 2-3 days a week - Ypsilanti, MI)

Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:

   • Take a lead role in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
   • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans.

2. Financial Modeling:

   • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.
   • Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to guide planning efforts.

3. Financial and Operational Analysis:

   • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and variances.
   • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), offering insights and recommendations.

4. Mergers and Acquisitions Support:

   • Provide valuable support for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, financial modeling and analysis, and integration planning.

5. Trend Analysis:

   • Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.

6. Collaboration with Business Partners:

   • Work closely with business partners to develop financial analyses and business cases.
   • Provide financial insights to support and align with strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a finance capacity.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
