Salesforce Production Support Specialist

Job description
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Provide overall support and expertise in Salesforce for Services deployed in Production
- Salesforce Administration and maintenance including performance tuning, optimal configuration for high-performance technical solutions on Salesforce platform
- Salesforce maintenance including upgrades, patching
- Production or operational issue troubleshooting
- Provide support to Agile teams for Salesforce deployment/tuning/configuration in non-Production environment as required
- Support application development, prototyping, testing, and demonstrating capabilities to users as required
- Work with Systems Architects, Salesforce development and cross functional teams to address security and compliance (e.g., section 508, FISMA) requirements related Salesforce platform in production and non-production env as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years' experience; or Master's Degree and 6-8 years' of experience OR four (4) years of additional relevant experience in lieu of Degree
- Must have of relevant experience with Salesforce Administration and technical support.
- 5+ years of hands-on implementation and maintenance experience with Salesforce platform
- Experience working in an Agile development environment with multiple modern tools (e.g. Java, .NET, Ruby)
- Working knowledge in querying Salesforce.com database using SOQL & SOSL queries
- Demonstrate knowledge, skills and capabilities maintain and provide technical support to high-performance technical solutions on Salesforce platform
- Experience in writing Visualforce, Apex classes, /controllers, triggers, SOQL and SOSL
- Experience in related tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Platform IDE, and integrations of third-party tools with Salesforce
- Working experience in assigning Roles/Profiles to ensure optimal data access and security
- Worked on various standard modules of Salesforce.com such as Service Cloud, Force.com IDE, Marketing Cloud, Community cloud and Analytics Cloud
- Experience working in Scale Agile Framework
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in ServiceNow
- Experience in Agile tools such as ELM
- Experience working with Confluence
- Experience in web application developing using technologies such as Python/Djago, Ruby/Rails, JavaScript/NodeJS
- Experience developing/deploying applications written in open languages on Heroku and integration with Salesforce platform
- Experience with deployment tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Puppet, etc.
- Experience building applications using Salesforce Lightning
