What you’ll do…
Walmart’s Indirect Tax Team plays a critical role in the company’s financial operations, focusing on compliance, operational, and audit aspects of sales and use tax. As a Fortune 1 market leader, Walmart is committed to transforming its end-to-end tax calculation system and processes, embarking on a multi-year journey to centralize and modernize its tax engine and compliance reporting. The team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of transaction taxes charged to customers and members across Walmart and Sam’s Club domestic operations. With responsibility for reporting and remitting transactional taxes across thousands of jurisdictions, the Indirect Tax Team also provides valuable insights to key tax policy stakeholders.
