Job description
As a Paid Media Strategist, you'll work with team members to drive high-level media strategy, focusing on pushing innovative approaches and staying on top of the latest industry trends and capabilities. In this role, you'll be the lead manager on select accounts (day-to-day account management and strategy), in addition to overseeing strategy on other paid media accounts (high-level strategic direction, but still client facing). There's a lot of responsibility, but plenty of opportunity for growing your career.

Paid Media Strategist Responsibilities
Lead and grow the paid media department's ability to develop holistic multi channel media strategies across paid search, display, paid social, and other paid media channels
Stay up to date on the latest paid media trends and capabilities, identifying which clients they apply to as well as laying out the steps for implementation not only for their own clients, but for all Paid Media clients
Develop client-facing template documents for both educational and strategy purposes
Assist in the development of high-level paid media strategy for new business pitches
Train, manage and mentor junior-level paid media associates and interns. Includes reviewing deliverables and providing direction for secondary specialist on multi-lead accounts
Develop and maintain internal paid media resources to improve efficiency and streamline knowledge transfer and communication, such as partner databases and capabilities docs
Create and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners
Brainstorm initial strategies for new client on-boarding as well as assisting in Quarterly Business Reviews for marquee clients
Develop and implement cross channel paid media strategies for clients
Participate heavily in monthly industry update meetings, providing actionable recommendations for implementing new opportunities across clients
Conduct extensive audience, keyword, placement, and platform research to help inform Paid Media strategies for Nebo clients
Collaborates with the intel, paid media, social, SEO and UXO teams to define direction and strategy
Collaborates with designers and copywriters to develop consistent ad, messaging, and/or landing page experiences
Complete annual goals
Train and continue to gain knowledge in all areas of practice and Nebo's processes
Paid Media Strategist Required Skills
1+ years experience in paid media, having developed strategy and executed campaigns across all digital paid media channels, including search, display, social, video, shopping, and native advertising
Google Ads Certified (including Search, Display, Video, Shopping, Measurement)
Google Analytics Certified
Microsoft Advertising certified
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
Facebook Blueprint certified
Client facing and public speaking experience
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Proven ability to translate high-level client goals into paid media strategy
Experience supporting Analysts with identifying tracking needs or issues along with troubleshooting of pixels
