Description SUMMARY: THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE The IT Systems Engineer is essential in maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure, reporting directly to the Vice President of Enterprise Services. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation and security of the company IT systems and contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and success of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Contribute to the comprehensive maintenance and management of network and server hardware, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and functioning optimally.
• Provide current firmware and operating system updates, along with the management of desktop application packages.
• Oversee the administration of Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Azure IaaS, Application Proxy, and Windows 365 guaranteeing a high level of performance and reliability.
• Administer cloud services to include Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS ensuring a robust and scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Provide planning and implementation of new technology projects and initiatives.
• Assist in implementing and overseeing IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, such as Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management.
• Ensure compliance with established ITSM standards and practices to maintain integrity and efficiency of IT services.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies and cloud services are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years in Systems Administration or Engineering roles.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID/Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Azure (IaaS, Application Proxy, Windows 365), and Microsoft Intune.
• Additional Skills: Familiarity with Atlassian Jira Service Management, Confluence, Amazon AWS, and advanced Microsoft 365 products.
• ITSM Knowledge: Solid understanding of ITSM processes, including Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. WORKING CONDITIONS: Traditional office environment with low-to-moderate office noise (computers, phones and business
conversations). In some cases, the position may be remote from main offices.
