Job description
Provide support for the Engineering department as assigned by engineers and engineering leadership. Interact with associates on the floor to provide resolution to problems.
- Support production quality, processes, equipment, safety, etc.
- Assist in estimating new parts and establishing new processes.
- Provide support in the development of work instructions, visual aids, routings, and ECN’s.
- Review existing standards and compare to actual on an ongoing basis.
- Work with Engineers to improve methods to manufacture quality parts, safely and at the lowest possible cost.
- Update standards as required.
- Recommend new processes or equipment to improve capacity, productivity, and quality.
- Provide justification for new equipment.
- Perform CNC and Robotic Programming.
- Provide CADD/CAM Support
- Assist on special project as assigned.
Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school in a field such as engineering, industrial technology, quality engineering, statistic, or other related area; and one to three years related experience and/or training in manufacturing engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
