Coast to Coast Distribution (CCD) is currently seeking and Order Selector.
COMPANY DESCRIPTION Coast to Coast Distribution (doing business as CCD) is membership-only retail warehouse focusing on convenience store member sales but open to the public. CCD sells most of its merchandise in bulk and directly off pallets. The storefront is arranged like a warehouse, with merchandise stocked in warehouse-style steel bins. Products sold include all consumer packaged goods (CPG Products) that you would find in a convenience store. As a CCD associate, you earn competitive wages and enjoy access to health, dental and vision benefits as well as development opportunities - more than 50 percent of management were promoted from hourly positions.
Job Description General Summary: Reports to Pulling Manager
Builds customer orders and packs order totes. Stages customer orders for proper loading into delivery trucks.
Primary Responsibility: Accurate palletizing of customer orders to meet dispatch times.
Responsible for palletizing of customer orders for shipment and placing all orders in proper sequence for loading. Loads all pallets using scanner equipment at a required rate to meet dispatch schedule.
Essential Functions: - Compiles and loads totes on to pallets for delivery
- Pulls customer’s order
- Maintains clean and safe work environment
- Verifies accuracy of customers’ orders
- Accountably for maintaining pertinent company assets
Experience and Skills: - Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse operations
- Certified on all equipment necessary to perform duties
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Educational Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements: - Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
- Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
