As we continue to build our team in support of our vision to the be the world’s best and most trusted mobility company, we are excited to announce the opening for a Communications Manager on the Global Communications Team.

About the Role

The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated communication strategies that enhance the awareness and reputation of key portfolio offerings and business lines within Enterprise Mobility, specifically Enterprise Car Sales, Commute by Enterprise and Enterprise Car Share / Car Club. Working closely with senior executives, business-line leaders and other key stakeholders and departments, this position will help support the business lines in meeting their business priorities and growth ambitions.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO and is currently in a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days per week in the office.  Please be aware that we are unable to offer relocation for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communication strategies for each business line that delivers on key business priorities and growth ambitions. Plans will be inclusive of internal communications, media relations, executive communications, content, etc.
• Craft impactful narratives and messaging that support each business lines’ business priorities and growth objectives in collaboration with marketing colleagues.
• Identify proactive media opportunities and serve as a company spokesperson, managing and responding to media queries on a timely basis.
• Provide executive communications counsel and build engagement strategies for select business line leaders.
• Lead employee communication efforts to drive engagement within specific lines of business.
• Develop and contribute to business line specific content, translating organization purpose, vision, values and business line specific objectives into compelling content that can be leveraged across a variety of internal and external channels.
• Leverage communications best practices to identify effective and efficient ways to communicate business line efforts both internally and externally.
• Work as a subject-matter expert on select issues in relation to specific business lines while maintaining current knowledge of matters and current events impacting Enterprise Mobility more broadly.
• Collaborate with Communication colleagues across the organization, serving as subject matter expert on business lines.
• Manage and coordinate with public relations agency as an extension of the communications team to support strategic projects and programs.

Qualifications

Minimum :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or other closely related field of study
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must have 10+ years of corporate communications, public relations and/or agency experience
