The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

 

SPAs NATO Allied Command Transformation Group within JOID provides capability development, portfolio management, program management, quality management, cost estimation analysis, standardization, reporting, software solutions and information management, and capability management support. We also provide an improved capability requirements capture process, including the generation, documentation and tracing of user requirements, with appropriate technical scrutiny, over the entire lifecycle of the requirements from capability definition through capability realization and capability usage.

 

SPA has a near-term need for a Technology Advantage Analyst to provide onsite support in Norfolk, VA.

The Technology Advantage Analyst (TAA) will contribute to identification of new and cataloging of existing Emerging Disruptive Technologies and provide deliverables to support the further development and production of the Technology Advantage (TA) critical enabler. Will provide analysis of how Technology Advantage (TA) will support strategic lines of development and critical enablers. Will de velop and maintain periodic reviews of TA Vision and Strategy documents to enable a common understanding, and prepare an initial draft Action Plan for the implementation of TA Strategy and support the definition of TA IOC and FOC. Shall develop and support a TA community of interest across a wide array of technology stakeholders. Will also s upport the TA Project Manager and Sponsor through the provision of information and reports on the activities associated with the TA Action Plan and integration of the TA concept with other associated projects and experimentation activities. Will f acilitate the work of EDT Analysts to enable effective knowledge transfer to relevant Strategic Lines of Development and to receive demand signals for EDTs studies, experimentation, and demonstration.
