Summary
About Early Childhood Alliance: Early Childhood Alliance (ECA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing early childhood services and support throughout 17 counties in Northeast Indiana. With a focus on education, nutrition, and community engagement, ECA operates learning programs in Fort Wayne and Warsaw, IN. ECA also supports independent childcare facilities as a sponsor for the Federal Child and Adult Care Food Program for over 100 homes and 10 centers.
Position Summary: As a key member of ECA?s Executive Team, the Chief Community Programs Officer (CCPO) reports to the Chief Executive Officer and plays a vital role in promoting ECA's services, building community relationships, and enhancing early childhood services in the areas we serve. This hybrid office role requires frequent presentations, multitasking, and occasional travel, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.?
The CCPO is anticipated to deliver significant impact by crafting and orchestrating successful programs and initiatives that yield desired results. Performance evaluations are conducted periodically by the Chief Executive Officer.
Duties - Develop and strengthen partnerships with employers, government agencies, educational institutions, and professional organizations to enhance ECA?s influence and reputation.
- Collaborate in community efforts to promote early childhood programming and initiatives.
- Advance the development and expansion of the Shared Services Network across Northeast Indiana.
- Oversee the sponsorship responsibilities of the Federal Child and Adult Care Food Program.
- Lead the development, implementation, and reporting of projects and initiatives, including proposal writing and outcomes measurement.
- Manage budgets, data collection systems, analytics, and evaluation activities for assigned programs.
- Foster working relationships with county and regional coalitions, statewide organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provides analytics and evaluation activities for specific programs and as part of the agency executive team.
Requirements - Bachelor?s degree required in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Consumer and Family Services, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge and experience in childcare education, including supervisory responsibility.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills.
- Independent judgment ? flexibility.
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Computer knowledge and utilization.
- Valid driver?s license.
Nice To Haves - Masters Degree in early childhood or a related field.
