Job description

SAGA Diagnostics is seeking an Associate Director, Laboratory Operations who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the pre-analytic workflows including oversight of incoming biospecimens, accessioning and storage of biospecimens, freezer inventory and monitoring, preparing outbound shipments, and histology functions. Based out of our Morrisville, NC office, the Associate Director, Laboratory operations will contribute to processes leading to fast and accurate sample accessioning and efficient sample delivery, enabling rapid turnaround sample testing and real-time analysis. Their work will include communicating and collaborating with various departments with a spirit of continuous improvement. In general, the Associate Director, Laboratory Operations will need to be proactive, detail oriented, and collaborative.
