We are looking for Physical Therapist Assistants to support our Physical Therapists.

The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for participating in carrying out the rehabilitative plan of care for our clients, under the guidance and in cooperation with the Physical Therapist. In addition, we also provide $5,400. a year (non-taxable) for gas and car maintenance for full-time and half of that for part-time. Driving to see an average of 6 patients per weekday between the hours of 8:30 AM-5:00 PM. Most PTA's finish by 3! Plenty of your day left for real work-life balance! For Full time: Paid time off, paid holidays, 401K with Employer match, Medical/Dental, and Vision. Student loan assistance program available. CEUs paid! For Part-time: flexible schedule, 15 visits per week, holidays off.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Certification from a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid physical therapist assistant license for the state of Maryland.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move patients.
• Computer literacy skills.
• Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.
• Driver’s license and own car in good shape with proof of auto insurance.
• BLS certified.
• An earnest desire to contribute to our client’s recovery experience at home.

Responsabilites:

• Confirm with clients their appointments.
• Follow the PT's plan of care for each patient.
• Massage and stretch muscles where necessary.
• Set up therapy equipment.
• Sanitize the therapy area.
• Lift or move patients.
• Monitor patients during sessions.
• Guide patients through exercises where necessary.
• Brief patients and their families on after-therapy care.
• Write daily progress notes and submit them the same day.
