Job Description:
- Responsible for administering the Informatica platform environment.
- This involves the management and administration of all components in the Informatica platform across development, quality assurance, and production environments.
- The Informatica Administrator is responsible for the security configuration, licensing, and the physical install and location of the services and secure agents that compose the Informatica platform.
- Additional responsibilities include:
- Install, upgrade, configure, optimize, and administer the Informatica platform, either on-premises and/or IICS.
- Support production jobs with performance tuning, metrics, and troubleshooting
- Demonstrates knowledge in the following areas: data integration best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Experience in Informatica Cloud Integration platform as a service (iPaaS) solutions including Data Integration, Cloud Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data governance and CDC.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Manages the Informatica platform components related to configuration, security, and connectivity.
- Liaise with Systems Administrators, Management, Network Administrators, and DBAs to schedule and implement changes.
- Manage the Informatica technical support relationship.
- Monitor all environments to detect issues and trends before they impact users.
- Troubleshooting the tickets with vendor for informatica related products.
- Should have ability to perform Start and Stop Informatica.
- Experience in Domain and Repository Backup activities.
- Should have experience in managing object versions using GitHub.
- Should have experience in Folder Creation and Code Migration using Deployment group, Export/Import xml.
- Hands on experience in IICS (Informatica Cloud) Design and Development
- Good experience in Agile delivery model
- Should have experience talking to business users strong communication and presentation skills
- Previous working experience in onsite offshore model.
- Supports the creation of documentation and artifacts used to describe the mechanisms used for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Identifies, develops, implements, reviews, and revises process improvements, procedures, and controls (including SOX) to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
- Recommends and follows security management practices, including the ongoing promotion of awareness on current threats, auditing of server logs, and other security management processes.
- Experience with SaaS, PaaS, and Cloud solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated; detail-oriented with excellent Organization skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business; available to provide 24x7 support as needed.
