Summary
No nights, No weekends and a cleaning company every evening!! Town & Country Early Learning Center is looking for teachers. Three new infant/toddler teachers would be responsible for 8 children 12-36 months old. Toddler classrooms are also staffed with an assistant teacher in each room.
One new preschool teacher would be responsible for his/her/their own classroom of 10 children ages 3-5 years.
Experience working in a NAEYC Accredited program is preferred. Applicants must be interested in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, educational, and secure environment for young children.
Duties - Supervises and educates 8-10 children
- Works cooperatively with T&C teaching team
- Maintains Office of Early Childhood and NAEYC standards
- Provides effective classroom management
- Communicates daily with parents
- Interacts with children in a respectful, supportive manner
- Plans and implements curriculum and classroom activities
- Prepares and conducts parent/teacher conferences
- Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and punctuality
- 40 hour work week, 9am-6pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch bread
Requirements - Teachers must hold an AS (BA/BS preferred) in ECE or a related field with at least 12 ECE credits
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be fully vaccinated against covid-19
- Minimum of 2 years of early childhood experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
