Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is a regional network of animal hospitals with the common goal of providing the highest quality veterinary care to companion animals. SVP currently owns over 340 locations in the Southeast and is growing rapidly at an average of acquiring five new locations per month. A leading private equity team sponsors SVP.
SVP has a need for a New Accounts Specialist to join our rapidly growing team in Birmingham, AL. This role will be an integral part of SVP’s Accounting Integration process. This role will primarily be focused on vendor relationships required for account transition post acquisition.
Responsibilities / Qualifications
- Superior communication skills with emphasis on customer service and vendor management
- Prepare & facilitate information between locations and to management as required
- Proactive and dependable at following up where applicable
- Successful at meeting strict deadlines
- Aptitude to adapt to a fast-paced environment and accounting software tools
- Maintain thorough organized records
- Verify discrepancies and resolve vendor billing and transition issues
