Title: PeopleSoft HelpDesk Specialist
Location: Remote
We're seeking a dedicated PeopleSoft HelpDesk Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users of our PeopleSoft applications, ensuring smooth operation and resolving issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for users seeking technical assistance related to PeopleSoft applications.
- Respond to support tickets and inquiries, providing timely resolution and exceptional customer service.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose software and system issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams or vendors as needed.
- Document and track support incidents, including resolution steps and follow-up actions, using ticketing systems or other designated tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business analysts, to address user needs and ensure system stability.
- Provide user training and guidance on PeopleSoft functionality and best practices, as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest PeopleSoft features, enhancements, and patches, and communicate relevant information to users and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft application support and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft modules, functionalities, and business processes.
- Experience in providing technical support to end-users, preferably in a HelpDesk or service desk environment.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and best practices for incident management and service delivery.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and support tools commonly used in HelpDesk operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in PeopleSoft or ITIL may be beneficial.
