Summary You will serve as a REALTY SPECIALIST in the REAL PROPERTY DIVISION of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA . Responsibilities You will administer real estate disposal and acquisition in compliance with Federal property management regulations. You will be responsible for obtaining space assignments, disposal, and related services from external organizations (e.g., General Services Administration [ GSA ]). You will be responsible for analyzing long and short-range organizational needs against available space to identify shortage or excess of property. You will be responsible of preparing documents for disposal of excess property. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing advice to an organization on Real Property inventory and management (e.g., shore facilities planning, real estate, and financial management) policies, instructions, regulations, and codes; and assessing procedures for collecting and maintaining property data (e.g., property ownership, location, size, use, physical characteristics, value and operating expenses). Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assessing procedures for collecting and maintaining property data (e.g., property ownership, location, size, use, physical characteristics, value and operating expenses). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education. Temporary promotions may be extended up to 5 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations.
