What is the Job?

We are in search of rising College Seniors and recent College Graduates to join us for an Industrial Sales & Business Development Summer Internship. Our Paid Intern program lasts 10 weeks (May - July), in a variety of locations throughout the Southeast. You will earn a competitive wage of $18.00/hour.

• As a member of our team, you'll be immersed in the world of industrial pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF) gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in wholesale distribution, product marketing and sales . By the end of summer, you will learn how critical the wholesale distribution industry is to the infrastructure of the US.

• Your life for the first half of the summer would include hitting the ground running - showing up the first day of work with a t-shirt, shorts and steel toe shoes! During this time, you will learn operational processes such as receiving, order processing, and shipping.

• Your life d uring the second half of the internship, would include learning sales and marketing processes by shadowing inside, outside, and retail counter sales representatives.

• All interns work on a strategic business projec t over the summer and present it to our Leadership Team at the end of the program.

• We view our interns as the future leaders of our company , and at the end of your internship, it is our goal to offer our shining stars a full-time opportunity as a Sales or Management Trainee upon graduation.

What We Need From You:

• You are a Senior or Rising Senior available for full-time onsite work for 10 weeks over the summer.
• Your major or course focus is in business management, sales, supply chain/logistics and have an interest in working in industrial sales.
• You are comfortable working in a distribution center in the heat of the summer.
