Job description
The College of Business, Communication, and Technology at Missouri Southern State University invites applicants to apply for a tenure-track experienced Assistant of Data Analytics to begin August 1, 2024. In addition, applicants will be considered for Director of the Center for Applied Data Analytics as part of their faculty load.
Applicants must have a doctorate in Management Science, Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline from an AACSB or equally accredited institution. Applicants should have evidence of research, teaching, and service sufficient to merit appointment at the appropriate rank.
The successful applicant may teach in both graduate and undergraduate programs. Experience with students of diverse populations is desirable. The ability to deliver courses though live/synchronous online and alternative instructional modes is required. Tenure-Track faculty are expected to provide service to the Department, College, and University as well as engage in an active program of scholarship that results in quality, peer reviewed journal articles. The Director of the Center for Applied Data Analytics responsibilities include coordinator for the Master of Science in Data Analytics program, advise graduate students, partner with University Admissions to support enrollment initiatives, and foster industry relationships.
