Job Title: Furniture Sales Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Furniture Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth in our furniture department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for furniture design, a strong sales background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. As the Furniture Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the furniture sales process, from customer interactions to inventory management, while motivating and guiding our sales team to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the furniture sales team, setting clear sales targets and strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure success.
- Customer Service Excellence: Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring exceptional customer service at all times, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-lasting relationships.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our furniture products, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate this knowledge to the sales team to enhance their selling capabilities.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Inventory Management: Work closely with the inventory and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock levels, timely replenishment, and efficient inventory management practices.
- Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and implement effective sales promotions, campaigns, and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Vendor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with furniture vendors and suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and stay informed about industry trends and new product releases.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the furniture department budget, including forecasting sales targets, expenses, and profitability.
- Compliance and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to furniture sales, pricing, and customer transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in furniture sales, with a minimum of X years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture products, materials, and design trends.
