Hardware Design Engineer Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $60/hr
- Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Remote, Candidates must be located in the United States)

- 40 hours/week, 3 Month Assignment
Hardware Design Engineer Responsibilities:
- Analyze information to determine plan layout, including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications.
- Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs.
- Build, test, and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
- Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required, cost constraints, and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.
- Monitor the functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure the system operates in conformance with specifications.
- Responsible for the layout implementation of various analog/mixed-signal building block circuits to be incorporated into a production product. This will include ownership and responsibility for the layout implementation including the physical verification of the design.
Hardware Design Engineer Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience required.
- 7-10 years - Advanced Layout Design - Proficiency in the smallest geometry planar and advanced FinFET layout design is essential. With 7-10+ years of experience in this area, the candidate should be adept at translating circuit designs into precise and optimized physical layouts.
- 7-10 years- Cadence Virtuoso Tool Suite - Extensive experience with this tool suite is crucial for efficiently implementing layout designs. Mastery of Virtuoso allows for smooth integration of analog/mixed-signal building block circuits into production products.
- 7-10 years | Calibre PV Tools: Skilled at diagnosing and resolving DRC (Design Rule Check) and LVS (Layout vs. Schematic) issues using Calibre PV tools.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to the engineering field.
- Team player and detail-oriented.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.
- Basic knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of telecommunications systems.
- Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability.
