Job Summary:
The Director, Revenue Cycle Management (DRCM) is a member of the Care Advantage corporate finance team under the supervision of the CFO. This role will focus on the entire revenue cycle process from beginning to end, manage and drive improvement in all aspects of the revenue cycle across our Personal Care, Skilled and Staffing business lines.
The DRCM will help improve the management of all revenue cycle processes and provide recommendations on what improvements are needed in the areas of authorizations, pre-billing, billing through AR and coding and then follow up with AR trend reports and managing the collection and clean-up of AR. In addition, the DRCM will direct and oversee policies, objectives and initiatives to optimize and accelerate cash flow while optimizing revenue streams in accordance with contracts and regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Revenue Cycle Team to include intake, A/R, Prior Authorizations, Financial Counseling, Payment Posting, Payor Enrollment credentialing
- Facilitate an inclusive workplace built on cooperation, teamwork, and a commitment to patient-centered excellence
- Develop innovative methods for increasing staff productivity, quality, and effectiveness
- Collaborate effectively across a cross-functional team to improve decisions & coordination
- Review, design and implement processes surrounding pricing, billing, third party payer relationships, compliance, collection, and financial reporting
- Establish quality review processes to ensure revenue cycle is optimized and process modifications are made as needed
- Produce and analyze standard periodic reports such as A/R aging, denial reports, POS collections, revenues by provider/location/payer, and revenue forecasts based on payer mixes and rates
- Actively participates in and complies with all aspects of Corporate Compliance Programs, follow the Program Code of Conduct and obey all relevant laws, statutes, regulations and requirements applicable to Medicaid, Medicare and other State and Federal health care programs
- Perform other revenue cycle projects and initiatives as directed by the Chief Financial Officer

Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field and at least 5 years of professional experience in revenue cycle with at least 3 years in a management role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess a thorough knowledge of revenue cycle processes including Medicaid, MCOs, Medicare, Medicare Advantage Commercial Insurance
- Have experience with Electronic Claims Processing, Payment and Remittance
- Be proficient in Excel
- Have the ability to exercise a high degree of analytical, problem solving and team building skills
- Demonstrate superior verbal, written, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Possess strong financial management skills including the ability to financially analyze data for operations, budgeting, auditing, and forecasting
- Have strong leadership skills including the desire and capacity to motivate others toward continuous improvement
- Experience with negotiating and managing payor contracts and provider enrollment a plus
- Strong preference given to those with home health, hospital or related experience using HER software (HCHB and/or eRSP)
