Program Manager
TheProgram Manager is responsible for owning and maintaining specific projects and digital programs for Shift Digital’s client account. This person will work to service the client in terms of overall account management, inclusive of: project management, reporting requests, data analysis, dealer adoption, and identifying opportunities to optimize their lead generating websites and other tool products. The Program Manager will develop, maintain and own the roadmap and project plans, client's requirements gathering, ad-hoc reporting requests and new feature/functionality development for their assigned projects and programs.
The Program Manager will also own Program P&L and serve as a liaison to Shift Digital Executive leadership on current revenue and cost projections and overall account budget. The Program Manager will serve as a liaison between each of the participating providers to ensure all providers are subscribing to program requirements including data integrations, required file transfers, and program guidelines. He or she will also be responsible for monthly reporting tasks pertaining to program KPIs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage account deliverables assuring quality, timeliness, and efficacy
- Coordinate messaging and goals for Shift client-facing teams to drive client satisfaction
- Manage project status including milestone tracking, budget, allocation, and open issues
- Manage expectations, set realistic goals, and achieve them
- Initiate and lead QA activities on program solutions to be delivered to the client
- Provide in-depth analytical analysis of performance of products and services using tools provided
- Manage and serve as client liaison for major escalations
- Coordinate program communications and process with client
- Work effectively within the team to prioritize client requests and product requirements. This includes weighing current customer/prospect needs with longer term product roadmap needs
- Manage project scope, vendors, and client expectations, developing contingency plans if required
- Develop program reporting relating to vendor & dealer performance relating to consumer journey
- Own project roadmap from beginning to final delivery to client
- Consult client stakeholders on industry providers, developments, best practices
- Advise client on vendor adoption and removal, including managing vendor vetting process
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Manage requirement gathering, project plans, project development and delivery of new features or functions
- Work closely with Dealer Support Team Lead on requested dealer-specific initiatives or audits
- Coordinate with in-field Shift Digital training team members (DBCs) to install digital best practices for optimized sales conversion
- Partner with Dealer Support Team Lead and DOC Manager to coordinate communication and escalation handling with OEM Region teams and other client stakeholders
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to manage several projects, initiatives, and regular tasks simultaneously
- Project management skills necessary to manage various and numerous projects while tracking costs against budgets and time to completion
- Understanding of the digital space, associated analytics, and delivery of technology solutions
- Ability to quickly master details of on-going and new issues, projects, and processes
- Willingness to provide direction and leadership for various cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates professional writing and presentation building skills
- Ability to collaborate with other managers and directors to create executive-level deliverables in PowerPoint decks, written memos, etc.
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Detailed & functional expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to actively promote a cooperative team environment
- Comfortable speaking with/in front of OEM Client, Regional Reps and Dealers
- PMP Certification recommended
- Desire to create advocates with vendors, clients, and stakeholders for various initiatives
- Desire to own success of projects
- Strong analytical and data skills
- College degree is a requirement
- Automotive experience is a plus
At Shift, many factors are taken into account when determining a reasonable compensation range for any given role. Some of these factors include, but are not limited to: skill set, location, years of experience, licenses, certifications, and business/organizational needs. The following compensation range is specific to New York City, Colorado, Nevada, California, and Washington residents only. While we do provide an estimated salary range, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top range for their role. A reasonable estimate for this role is: $80,000 - 100,000.
