Position: Henderson Day Porter (2 Facilities)
Responsibilities for an Aspen Day Porter ( Monday - Friday shift, 2 Properties ):
- Inspect all public lavatories per shift for cleanliness and maintain an adequate supply of toiletries for replenishment (soap, hand towels, toilet paper, sanitary products, and toilet seat covers).
- Sanitize public lavatories: clean mirrors, wipe down sinks and toilets and remove dirt, stains, and trash.
- Public areas and building entrances are to be continuously monitored and maintained throughout the day.
- Duties include: removing all litter, damp mopping spills, emptying trash receptacles, and removing spots and/or graffiti from walls and column surfaces. Public areas are to be clean and orderly at all times.
- Remove trash from trash cans/receptacles on the exterior property and replacement of trash can liners
- Clean trashcan lids and sides, scrape off gum, candy, etc., as needed.
- Dispose of all trash in approved dumpsters.
- Flush plumbing lines and check toilet functions in vacant units.
- Sweep parking lots, property curb lines, corners, around car bumpers, and other areas as requested.
- Dust/wipe down windows and windowsills.
- Report all maintenance concerns, vandalism, abandoned vehicles, and homeless persons to Supervisor.
- Complete additional duties as requested by Supervisor.
Required qualifications for an Aspen Day Porter:
- A personal vehicle with a valid driver's license and current auto insurance is required.
- This position requires driving to 2 properties in Henderson (4 hours at one property and 2 hours at the other).
- Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately to changing demands and thrive in a multi-dimensional role.
- Friendly and outgoing, with an excellent ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain a positive attitude.
- Confident and professional communication skills.
- 1 year of prior Day Porter and/or Housekeeping experience preferred.
- A cell phone capable of sending and receiving photos.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Documentation verifying ability to work in the United States.
