In general as a Commercial Insurance Agent you will focus on serving the insurance needs of businesses and organizations. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Specializing in commercial insurance products including property liability and workers compensation.
- Identifying business insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Developing relationships with business clients and industry professionals.
- Assisting clients with risk management and claims handling.
- Keeping uptodate with commercial insurance regulations and industry trends.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets in the commercial insurance sector.
- Collaborating with underwriters and insurance carriers.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
- 35 Years prior professional experience as a Sales Professional working with clients with a successful track record of generating new business and providing an exceptional client experience.
- Willingness to make prospecting calls and network to develop new business.
- Effectively communicate and build rapport in person and by phone.
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with Csuite executives.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for presenting promoting and selling solutions.
- Requires travel to networking prospect and client locations.
Benefits
Starting salary range $ 80000/yr.
