Salary Range : $16.00 - $20.79 per hour
Prepared Date: January 2024
5 Positions Available: - Middle School: 1 opening for 3 hours per day, 1 opening for 3.5 hours per day
- High School: 2 openings for 6 hours per day; 1 opening for 5.25 hours per day

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in preparing, cooking, and serving food in the school cafeteria, cafeterias, or Central School District kitchen.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Operates specialized foodservice equipment.
- Assists in food production, service, and/or cleanup tasks as assigned.
- Receives and unpacks food and supplies.
- Cleans and maintains food service equipment and facilities.
- Participates in ongoing professional training.
- Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate well with others.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and uses hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Employees may be exposed to hot ovens, grease, heavy lifting, working in the freezer, and sharp objects.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience or training is preferred.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSE, REGISTRATION - No specific licenses or certifications are required prior to employment.
