Job Summary

UTSW is seeking a Computational Biologist II with excellent critical thinking and analytical skills to join the laboratory of Dr. Genevieve Konopka , in the Department of Neuroscience to study molecular mechanisms underlying human brain evolution and disease using cellular resolution genomics. See our recent manuscripts in Nature, Neuron, and Nature Neuroscience. Visit the to view several exciting projects related to human brain evolution, neurodevelopmental disorders, and the NIH BRAIN Initiative Cell Atlas Network. Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. Experience in Neurogenomics, Computational Biology and/or computer science and large-scale data analysis is a must, including publication in peer-reviewed journals.
