Branch Operations Supervisor Location Evansville, IN :
Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking a Main Office Branch Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily Teller/MSR, Receptionist and Concierge operations and activities of the Main Office retail branch located at 4401 Theater Drive, Evansville, IN 47715. This position reports to the Main Office Branch Manager and supports the branch operations and initiatives. The successful candidate must possess exceptional leadership and excellent service skills, professionalism, confidentiality, multi-tasking and problem solving skills. The ability to coach and mentor employees on the products and services to meet the financial needs of members and to reach set goals is required. This individual will be responsible for assuring that policies and procedures are being followed while still providing excellent member service. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays as needed. Previous credit union or financial institution experience is desired.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for communicating branch initiatives to the MSR, Receptionist and Concierge staff.
- Communicate branch goals and review reports daily to evaluate goal attainment.
- Provide continual guidance and training for the MSR, Receptionist and Concierge employees. Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to help employees reach set goals.
- Ensure the branch always maintains the highest level of member service. Share member survey results with staff and respond to member surveys as needed.
- Responsible for the operations of front-line retail banking.
- Ensure MSRs are operating in compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
- Perform all required cash drawer, vault, cash machine, ATM, ITM and card audits.
- Review checks with MSRs that are taken outside of the check acceptance policy and call members to collect on any returned checks.
- Ensure all cash machines, ATMs, and ITMs are balanced as scheduled.
- Evaluate MSR, Receptionist and Concierge staffing needs and schedule employees accordingly.
- Coordinate MSR, Receptionist and Concierge staff meetings.
- Complete MSR, Receptionist and Concierge staff evaluations.
- Track, approve, and report all days off (vacation, etc.) for MSR, Receptionist and Concierge staff and maintain time and attendance records.
- Assist the Human Resources Department in hiring of new MSR, Receptionist and Concierge employees.
- Track, approve, and report information needed for MSR and Concierge incentive purposes.
- Act as a backup Account Service Representative/Loan Processor as needed.
- Open/Close the building on a rotating basis or when needed and work on Saturdays as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to sit, walk, and stand frequently.
- Must be able to perform some heavy lifting.
