Trissential is currently seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our client team in Minneapolis, MN . This position is a Remote role and only open to candidates who are eligible to work in the US and live/work within the United States.
Job Summary:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be an integral part of our Digital Product Development Practice team, responsible for developing innovative solutions utilizing ASP.NET C# technology stack. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust digital products that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Microservices Architecture Front End:
- Collaborate with our Architects to design and drive the implementation of a new Microservices Architecture front end.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Designing and developing secure, efficient, and scalable web applications using ASP.NET C#.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Implementing front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Integrating third-party APIs and services as needed.
Transition Modeling and Coaching:
- Coach the development team on transitioning to a microservices architecture within the client.
- Utilize technologies such as Blazor, C#, and UI frameworks like Luigi, Bit, and Piral to create scalable and maintainable solutions.
Digital Agent Quoting Experience:
- Design and develop a custom Digital Agent Quoting Experience that enhances the functionality of Duck Creek Policy.
- Create a solution tailored to our specific needs, moving away from the limitations of off-the-shelf solutions like DC Producer.
- Collaborate with integration teams to seamlessly integrate rules and workflows from the Duck Creek Suite.
- Ensure the new solutions adhere to security and compliance standards.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing feedback and ensuring code quality.
- Work in tandem with multiple workstreams to ensure a cohesive platform that facilitates easy introduction of new changes with limited impacts to other teams.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minium 5 years of experience as a Full-stack Developer with a strong emphasis on C#, .NET, and front-end technologies.
- Proven experience in transitioning to microservices architectures and driving front-end architectural decisions.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI for creating interactive reports and dashboards.
- Proficiency in SQL, including database design, optimization, and complex query writing.
- Strong knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- Expertise in UI frameworks like Blazor, along with familiarity with Luigi, Bit, and Piral.
- Experience with source control systems (Git/TFS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of integration principles and experience with Duck Creek Policy or similar insurance platforms is preferred.
- Property and C asualty Insurance experience.
Preferred:
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Microsoft certifications in .NET development, Power BI, or SQL.
- Experience with Azure services and cloud-based development.
- Knowledge of best practices in software security and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Front-End Development:
- HTML/CSS: Proficient in structuring web pages and styling effectively.
- JavaScript: Advanced in implementing interactive features, DOM manipulation, and asynchronous programming.
- Front-End Frameworks: Familiar with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js for dynamic UIs.
- Database Management:
- SQL: Advanced understanding for relational database interaction and query optimization.
- Entity Framework Core: Experienced in simplifying database operations in ASP.NET Core.
- Back-End Development:
- NET Web API: Proficient in creating RESTful and other APIs.
- Microservices Architecture: Experienced in building modular, scalable applications.
- Containerization: Familiar with Docker for packaging applications.
- Orchestration: Knowledgeable in Kubernetes for automating containerized app management.
- Authentication and Authorization:
- JWT, OAuth, Identity Framework: Experienced in implementing authentication mechanisms for web app security.
- Version Control:
- TFS and Git: Proficient in managing source code and collaboration.
- Software Development Lifecycle:
- Agile/Scrum, SDLC: Experienced in Agile methodologies and full SDLC.
- Problem-Solving and Debugging:
- Extensive Experience: Skilled in troubleshooting and debugging across all test cycles.
- Code Review:
- Participation: Actively engages in code reviews for maintainable and best practice-following code.
- Testing:
- Unit Testing, TDD, BDD: Experienced in unit testing and test-driven development practices.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- CI/CD Pipelines, Deployment Strategies: Experienced in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Microsoft Azure:
- Cloud Infrastructure, Azure Services, ARM Templates, Azure DevOps: Knowledgeable in Azure services and DevOps tools.
- Integration with Duck Creek Technologies:
- Quoting and Underwriting, Commission Management, Lead Management, Collaboration, Communication: Experienced in integrating with Duck Creek Technologies for various functionalities.
Trissential offers a competitive hourly rate for the Full Stack Developer, ranging between $75 to $80 per hour on a full time (40 hours per week) basis. Full time employees are eligible for a full package of benefits including company sponsored health care, accrued paid time away from work, and 401k with matching.
