Job Purpose

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a critical role in managing activities related to the development and continuous improvement of the site's quality management system. The primary objective is to ensure top management and the organization understand and comply with applicable management system standards, such as ISO9000. The incumbent prioritizes implementing business processes compliant with these standards, effectively deploying resources, and contributing to the achievement of management system objectives.

Level of Autonomy

This role operates with a high level of autonomy, making independent decisions on customer visits, consulting, and training activities. The job holder contributes to product portfolio expansion decisions and influences new product or brand launches in the market.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of quality systems experience/education.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Team-oriented problem-solving skills and small team leadership experience.
Understanding of business management systems and relevant standards (e.g., ISO9000).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.
Dedicated safety leadership and presence.
Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing experience, especially in a quality role with quality systems implementation.
Process mapping and development; SPC charting, and other statistical tools experience.

As a Quality Assurance Manager, your role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring continuous improvement within the organization.

Rewards/Benefits

The salary range for these skills is:  $90,000 - $100,000.00.  This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
