SAIC is currently looking to hire an Active Directory Administrator to support US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program to service the enterprise in an azure active directory environment to troubleshoot tickets, integration and configuration of Microsoft exchange efforts, and create and implement group policy objects at a server level.
NOTE: This position is 100% Fully Remote / Work from Home position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Responsible for the administration of Microsoft 365 to include Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, Teams, and license management/assignment
- Serve as the Domain Administrator for the on-premises Microsoft Active Directory forests/domains
- Support Windows Server 2012/2019 and Windows 10 in a multi-domain Active Directory environment
- Effectively troubleshoot complex technical issue
- Supervise the Installation, configuration, and optimization of IT systems
- Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, engineer permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation. Complete After-Action Reports as needed
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and support of email security gateways
- Ensure server systems are monitored to have the latest operating system patches, security updates
- Follow Change Management process for all changes to production systems, including documenting all changes made to systems
- Perform implementation tasks, related to Microsoft 365 and other cloud applications, including: configuration, integration, and implementation
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Strong understanding of and background in working with a complex Active Directory, LDAP, and PKI infrastructure and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures and processes
- Previous management/leadership experience
- Previous experience working within Microsoft 365
- Experience leading a tier 3 team of technical professionals
- Advanced detailed knowledge in AD architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, Directory Replication, group policy, security, schema changes, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos and Windows Authentication
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification such as Security+ CE OR CySA+ CE OR CISSP OR CASP etc.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
- Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $115,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
