Want to have some fun redefining the dining scene in Old Town Meridian? Eight Thirty Common is a very busy gastro-pub with an intense focus on fun, flavorful, from-scratch food, an emphasis on quality cocktails and craft beer, all set in a hip dining room on the park at Generations Plaza. We offer "NICE!" HEALTHCARE coverage for employees who average over 30 hours per week and PAID TIME OFF for all employees. The menu ranges from American Wagyu Corn Dog Bites to a Cast-Iron Seared Rib Eye. We need people who can cook with passion and have the ability to deliver each dish with a high level of consistency, can pour carefully executed cocktails and want to serve it with an outstanding attitude. Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation.
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory

Qualifications

• Cooking experience or Back of the House experience required
• Able to meet all scheduling commitments
• Able to anticipate the needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
• Strong attention to detail
