Material Handler

The Material Handler’s primary focus is ensuring proper receipt, storage, and movement of all raw materials for production. Quality & reliability are essential to support the needs of a fast-growing business. Being a supportive member in a growing team and the ability to multitask are essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Control
- Support raw materials receiving process including delivery inspection, safe forklift and/or pallet jack operation, moving and storing raw materials safely and securely in accordance with OSHA regulations and facility safety rules.
- Handle all material (hazardous and non-hazardous) organization and storage for all product line production.
- Support material inventory flow using Radius (day to day issuing, receiving, moving , & stocking of material) .
- Handle trash and pallet disposal for raw material receiving at the warehouse & on site.
- Transport material to and from the warehouse using a provided box truck.
- Review & maintain all SOPs.
- Be readily available to assist maintenance with certain projects when needed.
Warehouse Duties
- Keep warehouse and inventory tidy & organized.
- Check the area in/around warehouse for safety & maintenance needs.
- Unlock warehouse doors & turn on all needed systems upon arrival. Lock up if last out.
Manufacturing Duties
- Help with daily operations when above inventory & warehouse duties have been completed. This is including but not limited to running machines to process jobs, helping in finishing and shipping.
- Be fully trained on all machi nes and in all areas of the shop.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
- Completion of High School education or equivalent
- 2 years of direct machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail related to product quality and machine process quality.
- Aptitude for mechanical operation, manufacturing processes, and procedures
- Basic math skills and superb attention to detail and product quality
- Excellent attendance and punctuality - accurately record work time on a daily basis
- Interest and ability to grow professionally with support from StickerGiant
- Completion of High School education or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Active Certified Forklift Driver
- Working knowledge of forklift operation, pallet jack, cart manufacturing and rack placement for speed and safety
- Knowledge with mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures is strongly preferred
- Superb attention to detail and equipment safety procedures
- OSHA training (10 hour card or higher) preferred but not required
- Excitement and drive to learn and grow professionally with StickerGiant
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Duties require standing (excluding breaks and lunch) throughout working shift for 8 to 12 ho urs
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional climbing, stooping, bending and overhead reaching
- Frequent walking, grasping and gripping
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Move up and down steps and ladders
POSITION SCHEDULE DETAILS
- $22 - $24 per hour
- Full-time (40 hours/week), non-exempt position
- Monday - Friday (6 :00am-2 :30pm). Potential to work 4 days/10 hours per week
- Hours are subject to change based on business needs
- Weekend/weekday after hours on-call requirements includes: emergency facility support, machine maintenance support, snow removal, fire hazard or other natural disaster recovery
- Overtime is NOT required but is available upon request
- This position will require in-person/on-site work, no hybrid/remote work available for this position
