This is an onsite role located near Worlds of Fun in the underground caves.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for multi-company processing of bills and other accounting operational tasks.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

• Review bills for payment (match invoices with purchase orders). Check for proper approvals and authorizations.
• Enter Vendor invoices into A/P system for payment.
• Process weekly cash disbursements.
• Maintain orderly filing system of vendor invoices/payment information.
• Maintain vendor master in A/P system.
• Research/resolve vendor collection inquiries.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Process customer credit card payments for customers.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Attendance is an essential function of the position.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Additional duties may be assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Required

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combined education and work experience
• Four years general office experience
• PC competency (including MS Word and MS Excel)
• Proven ability to solve accounting problems and reconcile bank statements.

Preferred

• College level accounting
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in using accounting software.
• Experience in cost accounting
• Strong math background

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
