Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced corporate paralegal who can immediately contribute to key company transactions and corporate governance initiatives. This position works with in-house counsel, business partners and outside counsel on corporate governance, transactional, regulatory, and other matters, including preparing resolutions, minutes, memoranda, agreements, and other legal documentation. The position will also assist with legal and factual research, due diligence and data compilation and collaborate with key stakeholders on legal matters, projects, and critical Company initiatives. National Life Group is comprised of a family of affiliated financial services companies, including two insurance companies, a broker dealer and asset manager, among other entities. The corporate paralegal will work with all of these entities and business partners throughout the organization in an exciting and dynamic environment.

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.

Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position.
