Overview/Risks:
As a Procurement Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Procurement Department and Donor Services Division (DSD). You'll be the main point of contact for external vendors, MTF personnel, and Recovery Partners, ensuring seamless procurement of supplies and equipment. Additionally, you'll assist with administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Act as the liaison between Donor Services, external vendors, and other departments for procurement-related needs.
Manage inventory levels and coordinate orders for equipment maintenance and replacements.
Prepare and analyze reports on procurement expenses to help optimize costs.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to implement changes and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
Address supply or equipment issues related to product recalls in coordination with Compliance Services.
Assist in monitoring and managing procurement budgets.
Provide administrative support to staff, including scheduling meetings and coordinating educational activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in materials management or purchasing.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Commitment to the benefits of tissue transplantation.
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional college coursework is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical environment.
Understanding of basic medical terminology.
