Job Description
Position Summary This position will provide confidential support for the Southeast Technical College Foundation. This position will also perform a variety of support functions to include program scheduling, arranging travel, greeting visitors, document preparation, and mail distribution. Essential Functions - Support Foundation fundraising and programs, including responding to donor inquiries, and updating the donor management system.
- Financial stewardship and reporting of savings account, creation of checks and distribution, bank transfers, maintenance of fund balance information, and bank account reconciliation.
- Support the stewarding of all donors, including the thank you process, activities related to pledge fulfillment and donor satisfaction.
- Manage the implementation of the Foundation’s marketing and event planning efforts.
- Create pledge reminders.
- Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
- Monitor designated budget and expenditures, review for accuracy, and adjust as directed
- Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
- Coordinate bi-monthly Foundation Board meetings and donor appointments.
- Update Foundation social media platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications - Education: Associates degree in Office Management or related degree required
- Experience: Three years of office administrative management required. Foundation office experience preferred
- Other requirements:
- Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general campus department related software especially Quickbooks, Excel and Word.

- Strategic planning: ability to develop and achieve short and long-term goals for the organization
Physical Demands and Work Environment Some interruptions and must interact with others on a regular basis. General office environment with standard office equipment available. Lighting and temperature are adequate. Moderate noise levels typical of an office environment due to staff and student conversations and office equipment. Job is sedentary with physical activities normally required in an office environment. Possible temperature changes as individuals enter and exit the building.
