Job description

Responsibilities: Inventory Management

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Input data accurately into inventory management systems and spreadsheets.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and discrepancies as needed.
Compliance :

  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Assist with regulatory inspections and audits by providing accurate documentation and information.
Organization and Maintenance:

  • Organize and maintain the storage area to optimize space and facilitate efficient retrieval of inventory items.
  • Label and categorize inventory items according to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or concerns related to inventory storage and handling.
Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other team members, including Budtenders and Management, to streamline inventory-related processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate inventory-related tasks and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Requirements:

  • Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or cannabis-related environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of cannabis products and industry regulations is a plus.
  • Must adhere to all state and local laws and regulations governing the cannabis industry.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
