Job Title : Maintenance Technician

Department : Facilities

Reports To : Maintenance Manager

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

SUMMARY:

Directly responsible for ensuring the function of all equipment used at Sullivan house and safety needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in maintenance of all facility needs to include electrical, mechanical, machine and plumbing.
2. Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
3. General Housekeeping and Custodial work.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identifying any safety issues, reporting to maintenance manager, and the correction of those issues
2. Assist in development and execution of scheduled building and machine maintenance.
3. Assist Maintenance Manager with any projects or activities.
4. General Housekeeping duties.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. General knowledge of mechanical - electrical - plumbing
2. High School degree or GED preferred.
3. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. May require lifting of up to 50 pounds.
