Cashier/Customer Service/Host
(This is a tipped position)
Jeng Chi is looking for friendly faces to meet and serve our guests. We are a Taiwanese family owned restaurant with an emphasis on hand made dumplings, home made noodles, and wok sautéed entrees. Applicants for this position should be friendly and outgoing with a passion for giving great guest service. The host/host position will consist of (but not limited to) greeting guests upon arrival, management of seating incoming guests, maintaining front of the house. The cashier position will consist of (but not be limited to) greeting guests upon arrival, taking to go order by phone, in person and internet. Packaging of to go items and packaging prepared dessert items. This position requires cash handling.
Training and scheduling will consist of both Hosting and Cashier shifts.
Idea candidate has a flexible schedule. Must be available on holidays.
Part time or full time work available immediately. Benefits for full time employees after 60 days.
Job Type: full time or part time
Rate: 10.00 plus tip pool
Expected hours: 24 to 40 per week
