$5K Sign-On Bonus for candidates with 1+ year of experience as a GI Tech Job Duties
• Room patients, take vital signs
• Maintain the procedure room set up, equipment care and maintenance
• Assist with specimen collection
• Assist physicians during procedures
• Disinfect instruments
• Assist with patient care under the supervision of the RN
Requirements - High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program, Certified Nursing Assistance program or Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- Experience as a Medical assistant, Patient Care Tech/Nursing Assistant or similar position highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of physiology, anatomy & medical terminology required, basic computer experience, able to take vitals and perform CPR
- CPR (Basic life support) issued by American Heart Association
