Job description
Hire Resolve's client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Preparer to join their team in Naperville, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Responsibilities
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial documents and gather necessary information for accurate tax calculations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Identify tax deductions, credits, and exemptions for clients
- Communicate with clients to address any tax-related questions or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in tax preparation software
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
